PrideIndex.com is an online news resource for news for the black GLBT and gay-friendly communities. It houses profiles of Black Gay Authors, businesses, gay themed parties, conferences, fundraisers, support groups, and other online resources.

Founded by Philip Esteem Fleming in May of 2007, The Esteem Awards honors local and national organizations and individuals for their continued efforts in supporting the African-American and LGBT community in the areas of entertainment, media, civil rights, business and art.

The awards ceremony typically takes place during Chicago’s Annual Black Gay Pride celebrations around the July 4th holiday weekend.
