AIDS United is a national nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., whose ongoing work is to ensure people living with and vulnerable to HIV and AIDS can thrive; ending the HIV epidemic in the United States is their mission. Through their pillars of strategic grantmaking, capacity building, and policy and advocacy, ending the HIV epidemic is impossible unless everyone gets informed and involved.

Since 2017, Cagedbirds Productions has affirmed the black LGBT lived experience on screen and stage. Through storytelling, we build community and spark conversations about public health issues that affect our people. We're most known for our hit play, 'When Boy's Exhale,' based on the movie 'Waiting to Exhale,' which has traveled to D.C., Nashville, Atlanta, and Houston. We also produce the Uncaged Film Festival, an annual black, LGBT Filmmakers. We recently premiered our latest play, 'GAY Love Jones, in both D.C. and Houston. Our film 'Faux Flowers' was featured in the VA Queer Film Festival—Cagedbirds Productions, founded by Anthony Green. Anthony is a writer/ Director from Memphis, TN. He moved to D.C. to continue a career in sexual health and work as an adjunct English professor. Lambda Literary ranks him as one of the Top Emerging LGBT playwrights.

Queer Voices/NYC Film Fest's mission is to empower LGBTQIA+ filmmakers of color by providing a platform to showcase their talent, shape their own stories, and connect them to professional development opportunities in the entertainment industry. Brandon Smith and Ronald Hinton co-founded Queer Voices.

Ronald Hinton is a Queer, Afro-Puerto Rican actor, writer, and filmmaker raised in the projects of NYC. Living at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities, he founded Shared Soil Productions

Brandon Smith is an American actor, singer, producer, and filmmaker based in NYC. Brandon currently serves as Founder & Artistic Director of Golden Boi Productions.

Guy Anthony

Guy Anthony is a respected HIV/AIDS activist, community leader, and author who has dedicated his life to combating HIV/AIDS-related stigma since his diagnosis as a teen. He gained acclaim for his book Pos(+)tively Beautiful: Affirmations, Advocacy & Advice, released on World AIDS Day in 2012, which shares inspiring narratives and affirming messages. Recognized as a top HIV prevention leader by POZ Magazine, and an influential Black LGBTQ/SGL leader by the National Black Justice Coalition, Guy's work extends beyond writing. He served as a Program Manager for Us Helping Us in Washington, DC, supporting Black gay men in navigating healthcare and achieving viral suppression, and chaired the Ryan White Planning Council, overseeing HIV funding in the city. As a brand ambassador for Janssen Pharmaceuticals and an ADAP Advocacy Association board member, he continues to advocate for access to HIV care. Guy is also the founder of the Black, Gifted & Whole Foundation, which provides scholarships to Black Queer men, and he launched GROVER New York, a line of unisex messenger bags, in 2022. Residing in Brooklyn, he is focused on expanding his foundation internationally.

Daniel D. Driffin, DrPH, MPH

Dr. Daniel D. Driffin, has worked at the intersection of advocacy and assisting communities impacted by HIV for fourteen years across the South. Daniel is the Creator and Senior Advisor of D3 Consulting LLC, a consulting firm to assist small to midsize community-based organizations, health departments, and other programs aligned with the engagement of men of color within healthcare settings not limited to HIV prevention, research, and treatment but also within systems providing increase health literate and culturally connected services.

Daniel received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morris College and a master's in public health from Morehouse School of Medicine.

As a non-profit creator, Daniel knows the power of community pooling resources to solve problems. Daniel recently completed a doctoral degree in public health from Georgia State University. Daniel hopes to leverage his DrPH training to continue his influence to create community-driven solutions to improve HIV health outcomes for marginalized communities.

Known for his unwavering commitment to raising awareness and promoting education around HIV-related issues, he has worked tirelessly to empower those living with HIV by providing resources and peer support to enhance their quality of life. As Co-Executive Director, Darriyhan will continue to make a significant impact through his advocacy efforts, focusing on dismantling stigma and ensuring access to healthcare services. His passion and dedication inspire many within the community and beyond.

Toni D. Newman is an African-American transgender author, sex workers' rights advocate, Director of The Coalition for Justice and Equality Across Movements at the National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC), Chair of the Board for TransCanWork, and the Former Interim CEO of the Black AIDS Institute and former Interim Executive Director/President for LYRIC in San Francisco. She was the former Executive Director of St. James Infirmary in San Francisco. Newman is also the Membership Chair for the California Black Leadership Council and a Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board member. She is the author of I Rise-The Transformation of Toni Newman, a 2011 memoir about her gender transition, which was nominated for multiple Lambda Literary Awards and became the basis for a short film, Heart of a Woman.
